Saturday, 20 August 2011 at the Ditsong National Museum of Military History in Saxonwald, Johannesburg
You are hereby invited to attend this year's Annual General Meeting of the 61 Mech Veterans Association on 20 August 2011 at the Ditsong National Museum of Military History at Erlsworld way (between Saxon drive and Beechwood road) in Saxonwald, Johannesburg.
The museum is situated at the northern end of the Johannesburg Zoo, and on http://www.61mech.org.za/ you will find more detailed route indications to reach it from the north and the south of Johannesburg.

Die Voortrekkerkommando van Unika laerskool sal worsbroodjies, vetkoeke, pannekoeke, koeldranke, koffie en tee verkoop vir middagete.

Die das het so pas beskikbaar geraak teen R80. Vra vir 'n bestelvorm by admin@61Mech.org.za en plaas jou bestelling met betaling dan direk by Burgers Broers in Northcliff. Kyk maar ook op http://www.61mech.org.za/ vir meer besonderhede oor die proses.
Bestellings vir die baadjies moet voor einde Julie op die laatste geplaas word om aflewering voor of op 20 Augustus te kry . Burgers Broers sal ook op 20 Augustus by die museum wees met 61 Meg Veteranevereniging items soos golfhemde, golfpette en dasse wat gekoop kan word.
Jy is natuurlik ook welkom om die die dag by te woon in 'n gewone swart baadjie, wit oopnekhemp en kakiebroek van jou keuse. Dit is vir ons belangriker dat jy daar is.
PARADE PLATOON
As part of the parade a platoon of 27 veterans will represent each year of the existence of our unit. This platoon will not perform any fancy footwork, but will merely stand together in a platoon arrangement as part of the parade.
If you want to form part of the platoon, you can contact Ariel Hugo at hugo@unifruit.co.za, because we still need a few members to complete this platoon. Please assist us with this, because last year this was a very special part of the programme.
