Freedom Day Celebrations 2011 - Call to all Armour Members.
Call to Armour Action
The Armour Association through its connection with the CMVO has received the call to participate in the planned parade of veterans in Pretoria on Freedom day 27th April 2011.
As you can see form the Message below, the CMVO would like to have 50 members on Padade. The Armour Assocaiton feels that Armour can be just as well represented.
Members if you are able to travel to Pretoria on the 24 for the uniform fitting and then to the Parade on the 27th make contact with the National Secretary by email.
Message from CMVO
We have received notification of the wish that 400 Military Veterans will participate in a march past at the Union Buildings.
Uniforms have been made which will be handed out and tailored free of charge. To be able to achieve this goal, participating veterans will be mobilized 3 days before the event to have them fitted and rehearsed for the day.
The CMVO is looking for 50 veterans country wide who would like to participate in the event.
Details of those that wish to participate are to be sent to this office by no later than 20 April 2011.
